I was wondering if a current cadet could cover this for me.
I was told that after BCT, you can have a monitor for the laptop, up to 22", and a personal printer, instead of using the constantly-breaking squadron one.

My problem is that I have a 22" TV being used as a computer monitor. Will they allow me to use it, even though it has TV hookups?

you just aren't allowed to hook it up as a TV until you're a firstie.

Thanks guys!

Is there anything else we are allowed? I know personal photos are restricted, but, like, calendars or something?

just a clarification question: the maximum monitor size is 22" not 24"? thanks

you can have personal pics after BCT too. few girls in my squad put up wallpaperish stuff and a whole bunch of pics on their bulletin boards above their desks and never got hit for it in a SAMI or inspection or anything. but idk it might vary by squad

photos, calenders, etc are allowed. anything posted to the bulletin board doesn't count toward the number of memorabilia allowed, although the limit rule may be changing since no one really looks at it. I've had pictures of friends, home, etc up since freshmen year along with our family calender which has pictures of my family for each month. i just had parents bring the stuff out during parents weekend since i didn't want it to get lost over beast when stuff was taken.

Here is the exact rule:
CSP 3.6 table said:
Additional computer/video monitor connected to computer; 1 per occupant not to exceed 24” screen and must fit on desktop.
Fourth class privilege at AFCW/CC discretion.
So, it is a privilege for 4 digs.
(this is usually one of the 1st privileges given, based on past experience)
