ALO Interview Submission

I had my ALO interview over a month ago, yet my portal still says I an missing the ALO Evaluation. This is the only section I have yet to finish on my application and I am just wondering how it affects my app being reviewed. I contacted my ALO about two weeks ago asking if there was anything I needed to do, and he said that there was no specific deadline I personally needed to meet for it (he also said something about meeting with his board before submitting it?).

Just curious on if I should keep bugging him, or if it there are specific submission requirements my ALO must follow in order to get it sent in! I just want to be 100% completed by the time the admissions board looks at my file.

After you have your interview, your ALO still has to do a report on you. "We call it a 4060". They have a deadline on when that has to be done. So rest assured, s/he WILL have it done prior to the deadline. The deadline I had for some of my applicants was November 30th. Assuming I got it done on that date, the academy would still need a few days to process it. I would wait until December 15th. If your status hasn't changed by then, I would call your academy counselor and ask for them to look to see if it was received and processed.

I appreciate the response. Does not having the interview received and processed mean my application will not be reviewed by the admissions office?

Just because YOU don't see it as complete online; doesn't mean that it's not complete. I don't know WHEN your ALO did the 4060 form and submitted it.

You said that s/he did the interview OVER a month ago. If in fact, s/he did it at the end of October, I would probably email/call your ALO first and ask if they had completed the 4060. Mention that your online application doesn't show it as completed yet. They may say that they did it a couple weeks ago. It can take a couple of weeks for your online portal to update. Especially with Thanksgiving, veteran's day, and other holidays in the middle. (That doesn't mean that your package isn't completed. Just that your portal hasn't updated).

If your ALO says they submitted the 4060 shortly after the interview, ask him/her if you should contact your counselor at the academy or if they would. If you can't get a reply from your ALO within a day or two, I would go ahead and contact your academy counselor. They can tell you if they received the 4060 and the status of your application.
