Today my status changed and stated that I received a scholarship to UDEL. However, UDEL doesn't give out admissions decisions until march. Does this mean I will definitely get into UDEL ?

Nope. They are 2 separate things. But make sure you accept your scholarship regardless whether you know or not.

You would lose the scholarship unless you are allowed to transfer it to another AROTC school to which you have been accepted.

Once you have your letter in hand, you might let UDEL Admissions know that you have an AROTC scholarship. Don't know if it will help, but it can't hurt.

30 days from the date of the letter. Since they say letters were sent out today, then 30 days from today.

Also something you may want to consider; like kinnem said, after you get the letter, you could also give a call to the cadre of the UDel Bn and let them know about the scholarship.

This would be good for several reasons:
    1. If you haven't already established yourself with the Bn there, this will be a great way to introduce yourself ... along with that, next time you travel to UDel, I would recommend that you go and visit the Bn and further introduce yourself -- this also allows the cadre to put a face to a name. With the size of UDel's Bn, with the flood of new faces (freshman cadets) - at least you will be ahead of the game.
    2. I have heard before, in several different places (not just in these forums), in some cases, if you let the Bn know that you are DEFINITELY going to UDel, they might be able to put a word in to UDel admissions. However, please note that this is not the case for all schools - very much school dependent. But, it doesn't hurt to try, does it?
