And now we wait...

Not sure....but from what I remember reading, EA applicants will hear by 12/24. DS was deferred to RA at USNA today, so I'm assuming that might happen to some CGA applicants as well. I wouldn't guess that they'd be waitlisted at this point, but re-reviewed during RA. Waitlisting might happen to RA folks towards the end of the process. Again...all guesses at this point

Eeeerhhh. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I'm 157.77% certain that there is no EA deffered to RA at the CGA. I don't know why, but that's what I was told sometime during this season.

Here you go....I was wrong. Waitlist is a possibility for EA!

Same policy as before: Early Action applicants will not be reevaluated under Regular Admissions if not appointed; however, they may be placed on the wait list.

The waiting is so much harder than I thought it would be. I have finals this week, so I will be busy.

Good luck to all those waiting to hear before Christmas.

Weirdest thing, our ds received a call from admission officer on Sunday saying it was very promising for a placement into prep school and he should expect to hear more about details in a few weeks but than to get a update on his bears den account today that he was denied an appointment and prep school placement. Very confused and disappointed right now! What happened in that 24hr period?

I'm so sorry welder51. Perhaps it's a mistake? Maybe a phone call to admissions to clarify is in order. :frown:

Thanks Shellz! That was the first thing we did but was only able to leave a voicemail and as much as I wish it was a mistake I doubt they mistakenly send denial letters

They shouldn't even be giving phone calls saying it looks promising, don't understand why they would do that? especially when all final decisions will be out with in a week and a half

Here's hoping there's still a chance. Where are you from? Our Admissions folks are pretty quiet...no phone calls. I guess we wait some more.
