Let's play a game while we wait...What do you most want to see under the Christmas tree (besides the obvious BFE) or for Hanukkah (or Kwanzaa or...) this year? My DS is hoping for a watch, and money. And maybe some cool clothes. His sister will have to take care of the "cool" clothes. My idea and his idea of cool...well, let's just say they are miles apart. :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

We got the same for our now Ensign before R-Day! I agree, a great choice.

Youngest fancies himself to be quite the dapper dan these days (see...I told you I was decidedly NOT COOL...who says dapper dan anymore???) and wants a dressy watch. We will save the other kind for a hopeful appointment/Rday gift! Here's hopin' :cool:
 
So if tomorrow is the last day they are reviewing files we should hear by tomorrow right? Are they just going in order or if we haven't hear anything is that a bad sign?
 
Hmmmm, you may be a bit optimistic, Katrina. If they are meeting tomorrow, I wouldn't be surprised if they wait until Mon-Tues to upload the results.

I'd really REALLY like to be wrong. But, it's a hunch I have. :rolleyes:
 
We also haven't heard *anything*. Went ahead and had DS do the DODMERB through an ROTC authorization. Hoping that no news is ... no news!:thumb:
 
FROM Facebook admission page: The last admissions committee for early action will finish on Friday. I would anticipate all early action applicant knowing by at the latest Tuesday. If we have to we will go to the 24th. Keeping checking your bears den account and check email. All applicants regardless of the decision will receive email notification.
 
Also its the admissions committee that's meeting, they get the appointment recommendations from the cadet evaluation committee, I would say that's a good thing but this committee is the final and toughest hurdle in the process.

if you haven't been denied and your application has been selected by the cadet evaluation board for an appointment and is now in the admission committee, the BIG question is....what is the number of applications sent to the admission committee? and what is the percent of application sent there that are eventually excepted :confused:
