My son is in the CTANG, has gone through basic and tech school for aeronautical crew chief. He was homeschooled through junior high and high school and started community college part time at 15 while finishing up his last year of homeschooling. He will graduate in June with an AS in computer science. He has never taken SAT/ACT. His homeschool diploma was accepted by both the community college and the guard. What will he need for the AFA? Does he need a high school transcript since he already has a college degree? Any information would be much appreciated. Blessings, Joy

We have found USAFA to be very friendly toward homeschoolers. Almost every step in the admissions process has a note/directions for homeschooled applicants. DS is finishing his senior year as a homeschooler and is waiting to hear if he will receive an appointment this year. Academy admissions accepted his homeschool transcript no questions asked . . .
