Just want to throw out another big thank you to Larry Mullen for his speedy reply to a question about the mail routing logistics for the DoDMERB process.

Larry amazes me with how quick he is to help and I have to throw my thanks out again. He seems to work 24/7!
So from a fellow Long Islander, thank you!

Oh, this topic deserves another bump. I just read the best thing in a long, long time.

Agency: US Air Force ROTC
Current Medical Status: Qualified (as of 14-APR-10 )

Larry, thank you for all of the assistance that you've provided through this process. There are few people I meet with the same dedication and commitment to those who depend on them, and it was very reassuring to know that there was someone out there who I could ask for help from if I needed it.

There's no doubt that the entire staff at DoDMERB is just as dedicated to their work, and I want to thank them as well.

And hey...another Long Islander!

Great! On behalf of the entire team....OUR PLEASURE:thumb: Congrats!

I echo the appreciation for Mr. Mullen and the entire Dodmerb team. My daughter needed to get a remedial appointment and it was scheduled at the end of April; putting us up against the wall on college acceptance options. The Dodmerb team helped us come up with several options to accelerate this process. We dealt with several staff members at Dodmerb as well as people at local military bases. Everyone was very supportive and helpful.

The end of the story is that we were able to get an earlier appointment and just found out Friday that my daughter's medical status became "Qualified"!

Great! Glad we could help and Congrats!:thumb:

If you answer yes to questions on the medical form, you need to provide as much background info as possible. Other than that, records aren't needed unless you need a remedial.

I'd suggest having them handy for any kind of medical conditions that you've ever encountered just in case to ask for them after the physical.

Should medical records be taken to Dodmerb initial physical?

Larry Mullen,

If one does need to answer " yes" on one or more of the questions asked on the Report of Medical History Dodmerb form, would it be better to go ahead and take those medical papers relating to the issues the applicant answered yes to?

Thanks for the response Larry, email has been sent.
