Any modifications to AROTC SAT scoring scale?

Given the early scoring on the new SAT (looks like mean scores are up), many universities are marginally increasing the SAT requirements to qualify for enrollment and scholarships. I’ve noticed the Air Force is flopping around a bit…a month or so ago they increased the minimum SAT from 1180 to about 1240, but recently revised it to a “case by case basis.”

Question for the AROTC ROO’s on this site (or other knowledge folks): is the Army going to make changes on how they score the SAT this year? Either on the PMS interview (under the Scholar scoring section) or on the SAT/ACT scoring section?

Just curious if CC will try to change criteria/forms, try to normalize the applicants score, or just ignore it for a year and adjust in the future if needed.

I'm going to guess no change. We already let you apply if you have a 920 math/cr. We set the bar pretty low to start. Focusing on minimums is not my recommended way of doing business. A low SAT score can be offset by other scholar/athlete/leader attributes. I could be wrong, but I don't think there will be a change, and if there is I bet it won't make a difference.
