Srsly, though, you do want to do your personal best, so shoot for the highest you can possibly achieve...there is no magical number--IMO you should be aiming for all A's, and that unweighted 4.0 to make you as competitive as possible. Just don't forget about all the other areas, its a whole person concept. There are a ton of threads on this topic that can give you better insight into this.
