HSI Hispanic Serving Institution
HBCU Historically Black Colleges and Universities
TCU ????? Texas Christian University?

Many of the UC and Cal State Schools are recognized as HSI.

Thank you for the clarity. It is funny though that UCLA and UC Santa Barbara are also listed as HSI on the GoArmy ROTC website. The GoArmy ROTC website might be wrong or it is categorized as HSI in the GoArmy site if schools they serve as host are HSI.

DS is still awaiting an admission decision from the USCGA. Anyone else still waiting? Nothing in the mailbox today.

DS still waiting here too. Time is growing short and my patience is waning. Glad to know we aren't alone!
 
Nope! You are not alone. I thought we would surely hear one way or the other today. Maybe tomorrow the waiting will be over one way or the other. Is it better to know and not be in or not know and still have some hope? Not sure!!!:smile:

All decisions for the Class of 2016 were finalized on Friday, but some notification letters (probably less than 50) were not mailed until today [Monday]. I imagine they would all be arriving this week, but you're welcome to call your Admissions Officer and they should be able to share your status over the phone since it's after April 15th.

Objee can you provide any updated stats as far as offers\acceptances/ etc. My son is on the wait list and trying to handicap chances. Thanks

As of this morning, 331 appointments have been offered:

230 Full Appointments with 111 Accepts and 15 Declines

101 Conditional Appointments with 24 Medical Waivers Pending, 8 Medical Waivers Denied, and 1 Withdraw

Not sure if that helps, but everything usually becomes much clearer on May 2nd.

My DS called first thing this morning and his AO told him that a notification letter was sent on Saturday, but that he did not share admissions decisions over the phone. I guess we are destined to stalk the mailbox until the very end. :smile:
 
good luck everyone still waiting we are done stalking... ds talked to admission officer and he is not accepted. So it is on to UMASS Chemical Engineering program. Good Luck to all !
