DS (NROTC) is still awaiting the last "i" to be dotted and the last "t" to be crossed by DODMERB on a waiver. Was to be early April, then end of April, now mid-May, and have been told "end of this week."

Anybody able to recommend a good antacid?

He is supremely confident that everything is fine, but I don't know how much more I am going to be able to take.

    :help:

DS (AROTC) didn't need a waiver, but had a remedial. I think I was nauseous for weeks. Good luck!

DS just received an email today that his waiver has been approved. All "t"s have now been crossed, all "i's dotted.

    :yay:

Thanks everyone! I teach at the high school he attends, and I saw him in the hallway after the notification came through....

    he looked so relieved.

sheriff....you're absolutely right. Just lost in the 2nd round of the state playoffs (baseball) over the weekend, and he's contemplating playing American Legion baseball this summer. I'd love to see my "little boy" continue to play baseball, but it is probably a good thing that he gets back to his cross country roots and run, run, run.
