Im currently a junior.

-Academics: average GPA 3.7 but got a 4.2 the previous semester.I have taken 2 to 3advanced courses each semester all 3 years of HS(ap/honors).
My GPA has ranged from a 3.0 to a 4.2 on a 4.0 scale. How do they look upon that?
- Athletics:
Frosh/Soph Soccer 9,10. (no sport junior year so far)

-Extracirriculars:
Civil Air Patrol
Key Club
Community Service in multiple activities(15+ hours)
Tae Kwon Do(Black Belt) as a kid
NHS(next Semester)

Any things to do looked highly upon by the academies?

So you hope to attend the Air Force academy or Naval Academy???? Your screen names makes it seem like you posted in the wrong area...

However, physical fitness is a HUGE part of attending any academy. You need to work on that by being a consistent participant in a physically demanding sport.

What classes are you taking? Lots of math, science, English? What is your class rank? Top 20%? What are your SATs/ACTs? 600/600 or better?

What will your teachers say about you? Have you had to overcome any obstacles in your life?

You need not answer these publicly. I've posted stickies on this forum about what you typically need for USNA.

Leadership rolls are a big plus (team captain, club offficer, class officer, etc.). The more, the better. You are a junior so you may want to start leadership positions ASAP.

Strive for leadership positions because it is something you enjoy and/or feel you can contribute to your school.....NOT because they look good on a resume.
