I am a AOG Civil Prepster and I was just wondering from past prepsters or the parents of when did the appointments come in. Everything is complete and and I finished with a 4.0GPA and better SAT and ACT scores as well as a better CFA.

Congrats on doing so well during prep! Out of interest, do you feel better prepared academically than if you would have entered straight from high school?

I didn't necessarily need it (graduating high school with a 4.4 WGPA and 3.6 GPA and a 1950 SAT) but it can't hurt getting down topics and courses again before you get to the academy. It's more or less a refresher to sharpen you skills if that makes sense! Also Thank you!

I'm not sure how civil prep works. Do I apply directly or am I offered it like USMAPS?

DS was an USMA AOG Civil Prep at Marion Military Institute 2013-2014. All 25 USMA AOG's attending MMI received their appointments in the first round when they were sent from USMA in 2014. The first 500 appointments for USMA 2019 have been sent in the last couple of days. The Big Fat Envelopes (BFE's) were sent to the home address of the candidates. Best Wishes !

The AOG Civil Prep is offered. However, if you don't receive an AOG offer, you can attend prep schools as unsponsored.
