I'm a freshman and I have Pre AP as one of my classes :thumb: ...My teacher said that I can pick AP Biology or AP World History my Sophomore year...Should I pick AP Biology or AP World History????

If your main goal is to gain an appointment, I would pick biology. While any AP credit is obviously awesome, advanced math and science classes will really help.

Why can't you do both? There are students/applicants who take ONLY advanced classes. Besides the state/school district's mandatory classes, some will take all of the AP classes that are available. Some go further and get into the IB program and all of their classes are advanced (IB). Of course, only you can tell if you can do well in having all challenging classes. While a 3.6gpa in all AP/IB classes is better than a 3.9 in regular classes; there is an imaginary line. E.g. a 2.6gpa in AP/IB is NOT better than a 3.8gpa in regular classes. So you have to decide how good of a student you really are and what you can handle. But if you can handle it, you should be taking ALL classes in the most advanced level you can get.

I agree with Chris...Every year my son(C2C) took all the AP classes he could !

You should definately try as hard as you can to take both. Take AP Bio if you can only take one. The Service Academies are looking for people who push themselves, and taking two AP courses your sophomore year is definitely pushing yourself, also take all the pre-AP you can. You will NOT regret it in the end.
