I am taking some AP Exams and was wondering what is the worst thing if I fail, i.e, recieve a 2 or lower on them? For example, if one were to take the Computer Science or Calculus ones and fail them, what is the impact on one's scehdule that is geared towards an engineering degree?

As far as I know, you can opt to report your scores or not.

As long as you maintain a decent grade in the class, you should be fine.

Agreed. Don't stress the AP exams. But make sure you keep your HS grades up. USAFA doesn't get course credit for AP exams like many colleges. You will have the opportunity to validate courses during BCT. Enjoy the last months at home, stay in shape, and pass your HS classes.

Failing the exams would have no impact, but getting a 5 or 4 can help you validate classes here. Different classes have different requirements. Ex: Calculus... you have to score well on the placement test during BCT, AP exams don't matter. I think you can validate English with a 5 or 4, as well as a few others.

Do your best... clearing some core out of you schedule can be the best thing. It lightens your load and pays dividends in the future. I've only had 5 classes my last two semesters. And that's awesome.
