With two weeks to go now until ROTC starts, I have self administered the APFT three times and every time, my sit up numbers are not where I would like them to be. I am hitting 57 in the two minutes, which I know is passing but I would like a larger safety margin. Does anyone have any advice to improve core endurance?

I am absolutely no expert, but this is just my personal experience (I can do more than 100 in 2 mins). You can find core workouts simply by searching google. These usually include flutter kicks, reverse crunches, Russian twists, etc. I believe that in order to improve in sit-ups, you must work and strengthen all parts of your core. Planks/side planks are also a great way. Hope this helped!

Make sure you have steady breathing and a good pace.. Practice that over and over

The is a workout called "how to crush the APFT" and I've increased my numbers with it. Also take strategic breaks. Good luck
