Hello everyone, Long Time Reader First Time Poster Here, I had a question about my Application Status. Today out of curiosity I went to check my online application for USAFA. To my surprise, I found the "Application Status:Complete" changed to "Appointment Status: Appointment Offered"

Does this mean I have been accepted?

    Thanks, Felix

Yes. From what I hear you should soon recieve a large white envelope in the mail with more information. Everyone is different some got the envelope first, some were notified by their MOC, and some found it on their status page or DodMERB. Regardless of how you found out it's great news so congratulations!

Thanks, Im a little worried, for whatever reason I feel that the system is glitched or there is some sort of mistake. I really hope im wrong, but I am not too sure. The USAFA doesnt make mistakes like this, falsely changing statuses either on accident or some other way, do they? Maybe its me just being too overly cautious...

Congrats, you definitely have an appointment! The same thing happened to me. My status changed to "Appointment Offered" online about 4 days before I received the nice big envelope in the mail. I even called my ALO, who called the academy to confirm that it wasn't a glitch. The admissions office assured him that they are VERY careful to avoid computer mistakes, since they would hate to get a candidate's hopes up only to later withdraw the appointment due to a mistake. :thumb:
