just wondering out aloud and this maybe a dumb thought to put on board..when a candidate to USNA has completed an application early (this includes the Presidential Nomination and BGO interview) and then has update(s) to his/her application/file (things that have come in during the summer) does file get pulled to update and then get put at the bottom of the stack and then that candidate has lost their place in "line" of the early completes that are ready for review.

I doubt it. My understanding is they are complete when they are complete and updates happen to completed files as needed. The file could be reviewed before an update and be ranked according to competiveness then updated and reranked. I wouldn't be concerned about updating.

Agree. No downside to updating.

Just be sure that updates are "verified." For school activities, this means an endorsement by the school counselor. For non-school activities, include "objective proof," such as a copy of the certificate or award, etc. If they're not verified, USNA won't consider them.
