I sent out all the required application documents on my candidate portal and have everything ready besides the nomination. Does that mean I finished my application?

As long as everything had a date next to it, it means it was submitted. That means all the stuff in the top boxes and the BGO interview. So if you have all that you should be good. Are you still waiting for a nomination or do you have one and it hasn't shown up in the portal yet?

I'm assuming I don't have one because I haven't heard back from anyone and nothing has shown up on my portal.

Did you apply for Congressional nominations? If so, you should probably have heard by now whether or not you were nominated. I'm not so sure about the timing for Presidential noms--I have heard others say that these can take longer to show up in the portal. It seems like this might be worth asking your BGO about, IMHO. He/she could tell you whether or not you should be concerned at this point.

I contacted my BGO and he told me to still apply regardless of having any nominations... I wasn't qualified to apply for the Presidential nomination. Maybe I'll have a shot at attending NAPs... I'm not sure at this point. Only time will tell.

NAPS is a great option, from what I know of the program. It may take a little longer, but in the long run, the result is usually the same as getting a direct appointment to begin with. Besides, you never know if that nomination may show up in the next day or two.

Hang in there! I know how hard it is to sit and wait--I am waiting to hear from a SA, too. Best of luck to you!
