Any ideas? My son was denied USNA, awarded 4yr NROTC to Purdue and today awarded an appointment to the USAFA. He is torn and needs to see it for himself before making a life changing decision. I heard there were dates the academy flew appointed kids out for a visit. How do we get onboard with that? I would like him to see the academy as an appointee like he did at the USNA for NASS and CV.

Appointees received emails where there was a link to sign up for dates in April. They won't pay for you to fly out, but it's a good opportunity. The only thing i can think of is either wait and hope an email comes through, or your safest bet is probably to email his admissions counselor and ask about getting in on one. Maybe the link is out there somewhere freely on the web, but I haven't seen it. Congrats to your son on the appointment!
