Appointee Kits -- June 15th Deadline

The final To-Bring checklist is now active for all appointees who have completed all their other Appointee Kit actions.

The list is "customized" to each appointee and supersedes any other lists or guidance you may have found in the Instructions to Appointees, by email, or on other websites.

That is correct (but it will also appear at the top of the portal page). I suspect squadron assignments will be available either tomorrow or Friday. Admissions doesn't control that process (we are waiting for USAFA/CW).

Just so its said, Insider its a real blessing having you come on here and help us all out like you have been doing. Either as proactive info sharing of new info, or answering questions, or confirming and/or adjusting our thinking as we've gone along. I speak for me, but I'm sure many and all others are grateful as well. Its getting pretty large in the window now for the young men and woman, this guidance has been helpful for them and we older folks! Thank you...

Hello, I'm an appointee and realize this is very late, but I was not able to finish. I faxed in the tattoo policy form, but it's not been processed (I'm assuming this is because it's a weekend). I thus can't access my to bring checklist or authorization to travel. Will this put my appointment at risk? If this gets answered by today it be much appreciated.

I have a question too. DD has a passport card but not a passport book. Will that suffice or does she need to bring her birth certificate as well?

Hopefully Insider will chime in. If in doubt have her bring both the card and her birth certificate.

No, your appointment is not at risk. Just follow-up with the counselor or Albert Alire today. It may take a few hours for the form to process once Albert acknowledges receipt, but it should resolve today.
