I recall last year someone saying that each applicant had 4 months from the date they opened their portal.

Same as this year.

I don't know of too many MOC's who pass out nominations much mid-December. Many do not even close applications till Halloween, and then, there are often planning meetings between senators, congressmen, etc.

Candidates could get nominations from other sources like Presidential, etc. Right?

DD received her nomination before Christmas last year from the congresswoman, then her senatorial one mid-January. So, some MOCs do pass out nominations earlier.

I just wondered if our Cezme was notified of appointment or nomination.

IIRC, our MOC notified before Christmas those who had a LOA. It was somewhat later for those without. In PA, at least back then, the MOCs shared the nomination wealth which was great, I thought.

Of course, there are a few other sources of nomination, Presidential being one among several.

My Congressman's interview is this Saturday and notifies me of my status on the 26th. I think he is on the ball however.

My daughter received a Letter of Appointment from the USAFA for the class of 2020.

She posted that on here on 12/24/15. Fairly early to find doing a search.

Our MOC had a deadline of Sept 30. Our Reps have Oct 25 and Nov 1. My son had his MOC interview tonight and he was told that those given a nomination would be notified with a phone call in December. I guess a December notification is not the norm.

Agreed. Our MOC nomination application deadline isn't until 19 Oct. and interviews aren't until early December with notification in January........
