Today my DS received his official appointment. After all the work to get it, all I can say is its beautiful. :thumb:

My assumption is that we hold it and have it presented to him at school when they do all the senior presentations.

My question is who should make the presentation to my DS?

Depending on where you live, an alumni or someone in service can present. This usually will happen at the Senior awards ceremony, but you need to make guidance aware of it. There is also a written script for the presenter.

I got mine today too! :yllol::yllol::yllol:

so we just give that presentation outline thing to guidance and they will arrange everything?

We contacted our local USMMA parent's club who arranged for an alumnus to make the presentation at the senior awards assembly. Make sure you clear it with your high school first.

Definitely get in contact with the local Parent Association or Alumni Association. We did not know to do this for my DD and the school presented it to her but it would have been so much nicer with a repsresentative from the academy. Also we were not aware of the "standard" presentation speech which I understand is very nice. Does anyone have a link to this?

Contact your admissions office rep and they will email you the script for the presentation speech.

3pm: i cant wait for DS to come home and open this what-ever-it-is-envelope!

6pm: What a handsome blue folder! :shake:

6:05pm: I could just strangle the postal worker for bending the thing!

Right after I kiss her for delivering it! :thumb:
