If you are deemed triple qualified, but do not receive a direct appointment, will you still be considered for NAPS, are is that only for candidates who are not triple qualified?

I heard yes, but I always thought no. Someone claimed it happened to them, but my thinking is, if you're found scholastically qualified, what are you preping for at NAPS?

There have been 3Q'd candidates who have gone to NAPS or Foundation schools. Remember academic qualified runs a broad gamut from barely to highly qualified. Lots of room for improvement in there. Also, I have seen a candidate with a NAPS appt, receive a direct appt later in the same cycle. Don't try to second guess Admissions.
