Just got the news from my BGO that I have received an offer to the Academy! Extremely happy! However, my NROTC MO interview so I was wondering if I should go through with it or if it would be a waste of my time? Obviously if I received both USNA would win without a doubt but I understand a back up plan is always good.

Now I just need to receive West Point's in February and make a VERY hard decision:). Lol Thanks everyone for all the advice I have gotten from you and all the knowledge I have found on this forum!

    Congrats, that`s awesome! :thumb:

I think it would be a good idea to go through with the NROTC-MO interview. Everyone on here says to have a plan B all the way up to the beginning of USNA. In case something happened....hurt yourself, got sick, etc.

Not to spill the beans, but I would wait until you have official notification from a MOC or USNA. Earlier this year, an error was made and the candidate was provided false information. BGOs are also not suppose to release this information.

Congratulations on getting something that at least 5 other people want, hehe.

Did you keep a good GPA all throughout HS?

Mhm, school was never a problem. From the start I was highly motivated so I did not have any problems, and it paying off now.
