Just out of curiosity...what is the purpose of this thread? If you are looking to "compare and contrast" yourself, that will not really help you in determining whether you will receive an appointment or not.

IMHO, this gives others a false sense of hope and only creates more stress.

I understand SA's base appointments not just off of test scores and GPA. A well rounded character and drive to join, along with leadership skills is also a large part. I created this thread not to compare and contrast others based on academic stats, or for people to get worried, but just to answer curiosity of mine and Im sure others waiting.

Stats are only part of the story. How rigorous is your h.s.? What courses did you take? What is your class rank? Did you work while in school? Are you helping support your family? Is English not spoken in your home? What did your teachers say about you in their recs? What sports/ECAs are offered at your school or in your community?

The problem with stats is that people look at the stats and say, "I'm just as good as that," or "I'm better than that," or even, "I haven't done ANY of that." And none of those is necessarily relevant in terms of whether you'll receive an appointment. Just saying that when you read these stats, realize there is a world of information you don't know about each candidate -- some of which may have been determinative.
