My DS is attending MMI. He recieved the call today letting him know he received an appointment to USMA. Super excited!!!

Our Dear Son informed us last night that he received a call from our Congressional Representatives's Office indicating that he has received an appointment to the United States Military Academy! We will now wait patiently for the Big Fat Envelope and forward it to him As Soon As Possible!

First, you must be 3Q'd with a nom, but put on the NWL. (National waiting list) Pass on to your RC that you are interested and willing to make the commitment. If you are found qualified and are chosen by the AoG, you will be offered. There are only 50 spots, so relay your interest soon.

FTR, our DS never conveyed interest in AoG.

We had no idea what it meant when that little brown envelope came in the mail.

Less than 48 hours later some guy is telling us on the phone that he could help our son get an appointment to WP.

We thought it was a scam.

We received the BFE today and have forwarded it to DS at MMI via Express Mail.

DD is an AOG at MMI. She got her appointment on Friday!! I just spent the weekend with her and some AOG cadets that received their appointments last week. They are all super excited!! MMI has been an awesome experience for her.
