April Showers bring.. snow in Denver!

its snowing quite nicely here. i just made a snow angel in the air gardens on my way to class. sign out logs are closed. great april night in colorado. lol

oh, and we were singing Christmas carols in the hallway :thumb:
 
You should have seen it rain dippin' dots. (snow/hail/sleet balls about 8-10mm in diameter)
 
Its going to be over by Sat morning, probably sunny by sat afternoon, and 58 on Sunday. Nothing to worry about. It'll all be melted. Just another Colorado snow storm.
 
got to COS on Friday around 11:00.. ate at Cracker Barrel... and watched the snow fall.. heard roaring.. I figured it was jets.. here it was thunder and lighting during a snow storm. weird. When it finally cleared we saw there are actually mountains all around!!

It is extremely cold compared to where I'm from (Socal). On the final approach into Denver, there was cloudcover up until probably 1,500 feet so it was quite the experience landing blind right before the last minute. Today it was supposed to be 90 degrees at home but here it averaged about 33 degrees. But on a brighter note, I've checked the weather and it says that it will get warmer BUT never underestimate the weather.
 
well, it wasn't over by saturday morning! roads are fine, but still snow everywhere. we even got to play tackle football while it snowed this afternoon
