Anything is possible, and the Black Knight freshman QB has a lot of potential.

For the record, no one on SAF has posted a different outcome either!

Beat Army!
Well check back here December 10 late afternoon if you would like to see an Army beats Navy post. We will be delighted to show you what it looks like.

My son hung out briefly with Chris Carter during his overnight visit. He seemed to be a good guy. Young and fast. Can't wait to see him on the field this year. Times ar a changing.

GO ARMY!!! BEAT NAVY!!!!

Times ar a changin[/QUOTE]

They appear to be according to the Oracle at Delphi. While I ...obviously...cherished Navy's victory this past year, I had nothing but admiration for Army and their upcoming star in defeat to the degree that when a fellow fan turned to me late in the game and asked "What's wrong with Navy today?" I simply responded..."Nothing....Army came to play". That 21 point underdog looked like a junk yard dog and I took my hat off to them for the effort.

Looking forward to it as well...as we all do....and may the best team prevail! GO NAVY....BEAT ARMY!

Is there a way to "like" all but the last four words of a post?

with all the other travel cost plebe year, (r-day, a-day, PPW), I thought we might save the army-navy game till the following year. Is there a reason to go plebe year as opposed to going the other years?

It looks like a blast. I'm just wondering if I should spread out some of the "fun".

Some of us have to pick and choose what we attend. My son is at USNA, and we live in South Dakota. We hope to make one visit to see our Mid each year. His Plebe year we attended PPW, but not I Day. This year, we hope to go to the Army/Navy game. His 2C year, we hope to attend the 2C Parents Weekend, and his last year...Commissioning Week. It would be nice to attend all of the special moments such as I Day, Herndon Climb, etc..., but it's just not going to happen.

We didn't go ever for our 2012 grad. This year, we are planning to go and take the 2012 with us!

You have it planned out nicely. I wouldnt worry abt not attending everything~the times you spend there will be special and great memories.

So how much time should my wife and I expect to be able to spend with our plebe? When to cadets get to Baltimore, and when do they head back to West Point? Where do they stay overnight? Can he stay with us?

I booked room at the days inn inner harbor. Anyone know anything about that hotel? Are there activities all around, within walking distance?

Days Inn, if it's the one I think it is, is conveniently close. Walk to stadium, Inner Harbor (shops, restaurants, museums, attractions). We usually send visitors to the National Aquarium, USS CONSTELLATION (the wooden one!) and taking a water taxi to Ft. McHenry park. There will be all kinds of game-related activities.

If they ride boomerang, or the WP buses, your time with them will be pretty limited. The past 2 years, our DS has ridden with friends and met us at the city on Friday afternoon/ evening, spent the night with us at the hotel and had breakfast until they needed to report to the stadium.

Also, following the game, win or loss, our DS has wanted to be with his friends- but they generally are on pass until evening formation on Sunday at WP. Plebe year might not have that kind of freedom, we didn't have that opportunity his first game.
