Is it too early for someone to try to buy some tickets for next years game? Anyone know a good source to buy from?

The best way I know of to get tickets is to join the USNA Booster Club. (I would imagine this would work with the USMA as well, I just don't have any experience with them).

When you join USNA you are basically guaranteed tickets to the Army/Navy Football game. They may not be the best seats in the house, but you will get in the door. And you'll pay face value as well.

Your parents will have an opportunity to buy some at R-Day. There is a booth down in Ike Hall if I remember correctly. I think that is the first opportunity available.

Army-Navy at Fedex Field this year

Army-Navy is at Fedex Field (Redskins Stadium) in Landover, MD, this year. It's a suburb inside the Washington Beltway. Nearby business-chain hotels will book quickly, if not already. National Harbor hotel complex will be a good choice; that's the new Gaylord National Convention Center on the MD side of the Potomac across from Alexandria. Otherwise, you will end up in the District, across the Potomac in Alexandria/Arlington/Crystal City, at BWI or other further-away clusters. Or even Annapolis, not a bad tourist town, even in December! There are hotel clusters all around the Maryland I-495 Beltway and major arteries such as I-95, US 1 and Baltimore-Washington Parkway. Much will depend on plans to go play in DC and your budget.

Thanks guys! I'll probably be doing R-day by myself, so I'll give the ticket office a call sometime when I get a chance.

Oops, I didn't notice that you were a candidate.

My advice would be better for someone who doesn't have a cadet currently or isn't a grad.
