Fordham University - This school offers the following additional incentives to students taking Army ROTC :

* PARTNERSHIP SCHOOLS: COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY | NEW YORK UNIVERSITY | CITY COLLEGE | IONA COLLEGE | JOHN JAY COLLEGE OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE | MARIST COLLEGE | NEW SCHOOL | POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY
* Full Tuition Scholarships, as much as $35,000 PER YEAR, are offered at high cost schools such as Columbia University, New York University, and Fordham University.

Can someone clarify this for me. What are Partnership schools, are they crosstown schools where you can participate AROTC program through?

And I know Type 1 Scholarships (Full Tuition) are only granted to Host schools, so would Partnership schools be included? (In this case, Columbia, NYU, City, Iona, John Jay, Marist, New, Polytech)

I don't know about that exact terminology, but I do know that there are no "types" of Army scholarships. From both CC and the actual school, there are 4 year and 3- Advance Designee.
As far as I have seen from personal experience, you don't have to be at the host school to get a scholarship

partnership schools are cross town affiliate schools. The same thing.

No, you don't have to be at the host school to get the full tuition scholarship. the difference is NOT host school vs. cross town affiliate school. the difference is between 3 year vs. 4 year, and it has nothing to do with the above distinction.

Oh, that was just what the AFROTC Captain told me during my school's College Fair. Maybe it's just the Air Force ROTC. So I'm guessing ROTC Classes/labs/Physical training can be taken at those Partnership schools?

my input is ONLY about Army ROTC.

I have no idea how AFROTC works.

I am told that in large Army ROTC battalions with cross affiliate town schools that are also pretty big (ROTC cadets wise), some PT take place at each school, but the courses and labs are still offered at the host campus - and the cross affiliate cadets must travel to the host campus. I heard that in some other cases, even the PT takes place only at the host campus.

you need to call the battalion and find out.

For AROTC
It depends on the battalion.
I am at a host school.
We have a couple cross town schools that come to us for PT.
We have another school that hosts PT for themselves and a few other schools.

All the schools come to my school for lab and class.

Then there is one school that we only see at our FTXes but is considered by CC to be part of our battalion. But I'm pretty sure we share slots for summer schools also...
