My son is finishing his Army ROTC application tonihht. He has completed some sections and is finishing his personal statement tonight. Can someone let me know...we have not seen a Submit button yet. How is the online application actually submitted?

I'm in the same situation as your son, just waiting for my PFT scores and Guidance Counselor form to be sent in (he is on vacation). I think each time you move through a section and get that green check mark, it's similar to hitting a submit button. Once all sections have a green check, the application is finished.

I sincerely hope that's NOT the case! My DS will start working on a particular tab and then come back at a later time to work on it some more. The tab may show green, but he may not be done with adding all the particulars. If getting a green tab is the same as hitting "Submit", he's screwed!:unhappy:

Each time he adds information it should update the form. The application is only closed for good once it has been submitted to the board.

When my younger son started his application he had barely put any information down, he received a letter from CC with a printout of his application asking for more information. As he continued to update the application each section became complete.

If your worried that updates are not being added, contact CC and ask if the information is making it onto the form.

Yeah calm down Future2LtMom, it updates the portal every time haha! We'd all be screwed if it didn't!

Whew! I just realized that I mis-read your earlier post. I thought you said that if a particular tab was green, it meant you were completely finished with that tab and that the information on it was submitted as final. Now, I realize that you were saying that all tabs have to be green before it's considered final. It's way too early in the week for me to be trying to give myself a heart attack! :shake:
