Army ROTC March 2013 Board

My understanding is that decisions can continue to come out for the next 4 to 6 weeks.

When I filled out the ROTC application, I had already committed to Columbia University to run, but I had to put 2 other schools on the application so I put Rutgers and Princeton. On the portal it said I was given the scholarship to Princeton. I heard the portal only lists one but it is in alphabetical order. Does this mean I did not get it to Columbia? Any help is appreciated!!

From past threads I've seen, it doesn't appear to always be in alpha order - so think the only confirmation will be when the actual letter arrives.
I am just a lurker but this forum has been an invaluable guide. My son's portal was just updated and he has received a scholarship to his 2nd choice.
We also just happen to be visiting the program today so he doesn't even know yet. We planned the visit weeks ago so it isn't related to the scholarship.

Since the letters have been sent you might want to call the Battalion at Columbia and ask the ROO if you received a scholarship for their Battalion. They should be able to look it up and tell you.
I am new to this site as well to how the ROTC works. My son applied and wanted to check on his status, but I am unclear where to go to sign into the proper "portal"? Stupid question maybe but he is very excited to find out if he will get a scholarship.

If things follow the last board when they waited until the letters were sent to update the status pages, most of the updates will be made today and tomorrow.
Last board almost all the updates were done in one day, but the updates started earlier in the day, so they may take today and tomorrow.
The results don't trickle out over 4 to 6 weeks, almost all are done in the two day period. There may be a few given from now until May1st since some applicants may decline the scholarship.
Since the letters have been sent by Cadet Command you can always call the #1 choice Battalion and ask the ROO if you received a scholarship to the school, they should be able to see this information and let you know.

Enter social security number of applicant
Enter birthdate of applicant
Click on "Submit Request"

They are probably overloaded with people checking their status. The system always seems to have issues. What a day to have an issue with so many applicants anxious to find out.

Keep checking throughout the day, the site seems to go dark while they are updating, it could pop right back up just as quick.

YAY!!!! Just checked DS portal and status changed to show he received a scholarship to his last choice school. So now the wait begins to see if there are other schools on his list, still completely proud of all his accomplishments!! Woo hoo!!!
