Hello, I'm currently awaiting my status with a 4-year Army ROTC scholarship. I was wondering if the DoDMERB exams were done before or after the awarding of the scholarship. I recall that during the ROTC scholarship application process, there was no part that stated that completion of application process required the DoDMERB exam completion, unlike the applications to the service academies. It'd be great if someone could let me know because I have yet to complete DoDMERB. Thank you in advance!

Some have been pre qualified with medical exams, but typically they follow receiving a scholarship offer.

The awarding of the scholarship has ZERO to do with medical status, unless the waiver has been denied. There is NO correlation at all. "Usually, " applicants who are ONLY in for ROTC and haven't taken the exam for an Academy or other ROTC program, have been offerred a scholarship already....BUT, not always:thumb:
