Hello Everyone. I have two questions:

First, when are the Army ROTC boards going to meet this year and how frequently?

Second, when do the slots begin to fill up at schools with ROTC? Do the officers at the battalion select students to come to their school after all of the boards have met? Am I at a huge disadvantage if I can only make a board until December or January? Thanks.

    Thanks.

The slots begin to fill up as soon as the first board meets. More slots will fill up with each successive board. Is it possible that ALL slots at one battalion will fill up with the first board? Yes.

As you should know from reading the posts on this site...the earlier the better for applying for ROTC scholarships. You want to get your file reviewed by as many boards as possible.

I have a hypothetical. So let's say Student A is awarded a scholarship and there are still slots available at his #1 school. Can the PMS be like we don't want him coming to our school and turn him down?

Theoretically, yes? It is thought that the PMS can look at a candidate's stats and not think they are not competitive enough to get accepted to school #1. They could then turn them down?

Clarksonarmy would probably be able to answer this better.
