AROTC 2nd Board Waiters 2015

Three year scholarships to my numbers one, two and five schools. Incredibly thankful. Keep your heads up if you didn't get it this round: You're still in this.

Time to bust my butt and prep for acing the APFT.

It's your move, West Point...

I got a 3-year to St. Edward's University, Trinity University, and Norwich. Good luck to all winners and everyone else who's waiting for the third board.

Congratulations to all of you who were awarded scholarships this round! Truly! If it's over, my DS didn't get one this round - bummed for him, but maybe next time... or maybe they are still coming...

Just got word the letters are being printed...Game On!!!!!!

Clarksonarmy -- from your experience/gut instinct -- will the website update statuses all at once, or could this take a day or two? In other words, for those who checked their status recently and it still reads "Boarded" could there still be updates made, or should they consider themselves in a holding pattern until the next Board? Thanks for your guidance.

How long until we get the letters back, I want to change my school choice, I told them to a while back but they never did. Guess I will have to do it now...

If you don't mind me asking what school would be your preferred choice?

Ohh I gotcha well im from Dallas, Tx and I have a ton of friends who go to TAMU and love it there. However, only one of them is in the Corps of Cadets and he's a AFROTC cadet. He loves the Corps! Haha
Best of luck to you on the transfer!

If our status hasn't changed is there any hope of receiving a scholarship on this board?
I don't think so, maybe I'm wrong but they all come out around the same time. Work those ACT scores!

2019 WestPoint class applicant
Recipient of 4 year army rotc scholarship.

What schools did you list? Just curious

I'm thinking my schools might be what's holding me back right now because they are all large state schools. This is the list in order on my application. I also listed the school's decisions on my applications. Thanks!
1. University of Maryland- Accepted
2. University of Connecticut
3. Purdue- Accepted
4. Colorado State University- Accepted

What area do you think you lack in? I only have a 31 ACT so you're close

Great schools and congrats on being accepted to University of Maryland and Purdue! I originally listed in my top three: St. Edward's University (private and small), Trinity University ( private and super small), and University of Texas - San Antonio (Huge state school) and they didn't award me the scholarship to University of Texas - San Antonio but instead to Norwich University which private and really small and was my 4th choice. Although I got a 3-year AD because all private but extremely happy none the less!!!!
