I've looked through these forums and have looked it up online but I can't find anything telling me the average test scores and fitness test scores for AROTC 4 year scholarship winners. If anyone could help me that would be great, thanks.

My son was a 3 year winner. He scored a 29 on the ACT and 3.3U/3.5W GPA. He scored near the top on the PT test. I'm sorry I can't remember the score.

Does anyone know if there's a thread for AFROTC recipients' stats for this year. I'm curious to see what the averages are for the year.

Don't rely too much on the stats people list here. They are just a small sample of what goes into an application and what the boards look at. One applicant may have stellar GPA and Test Scores but be lacking in athletics, leadership, or both.

There have been applicants that received offers from the first board with a 3.5 GPA and a 24 ACT, but with a leadership and athletics resume off the charts, while an applicant with a 3.8 GPA and a 30 ACT does not get an offer.

The other thing to remember is that school selections do matter, if an applicant lists only high profile competitive schools/battalions, their chances become harder due to the number of applicants that list the same schools.

Do the best you can to put together a balanced application, and choose schools that fit your profile, this will help give you the best chance at receiving a scholarship.

Nice mile time, I'm sure that caught a few eyes.

There's not a better feeling for a new cadet to run the 2 mile on the first battalion APFT and to be at the finish line greeting the entire rest of the Battalion as they cross the line.

If your not running on a track but on a trail, make sure you know the course, my son got a bit lost on his first APFT, still finished first which made the other cadets grumble a bit more.
