What is the normal timeframe it takes for a document to go from "pending" to "accepted". Does Cadet Command go in near the end of the deadline for each board and review and update the status? Thanks in advance for any help.

From my DS experiences last year it usually took a few days at most. Good luck!

That is what I thought. She has on item that has been in since mid-November. Now that everything is in and in pending status, I am going to advise her to contact cadet command.

Right now I would avoid the word "normal" when referring to Cadet Command. We recently upgraded (and I use the term loosely) the system we use to track Cadets and applicants. They also are closing out the first board, and it's the holidays...If you are pending that is better than "haven't submitted" and you should definitely contact them if you are concerned, but don't expect things to happen quickly this time of year.

I have told her to be patient. Her concern, and mine is that the next board is coming. She has met the deadline for submission, but it is my understanding that if everything is not GREEN, then she will not get boarded this time around.

She is in pending status for PFA, college transcript, and SAT scores. She has completed her PMS interview.

Has she called the ROO at her top choice school yet? Our DS had his interview still showing as pending and the ROO told him it was actually shown as completed, behind the scenes. It still showed pending at the time of the first board this fall, but he was awarded a scholarship.

Thank you for the advice. I will make sure she calls the ROO before she contacts cadet command.

The other thing to keep in mind is that the gap between when the deadline is and when the board actually meets is the time when the processors do a little catch up to make sure anyone who has submitted get boarded. And ROOs are usually good folks to talk to if you have questions/concerns
