Does the Cadet Command have some formula to adjust reported GPA? DD looked at her Army ROTC portal the other day and had a GPA listed that is below what we think it should be. She has a 4.0 unweighted and 4.7 weighted GPA...nothing but A's all through HS, but GPA is showing 3.90.

They use their scale and their weights.
School's have very different calculations. For AROTC my unweighted was a 3.7, however, at my school my WEIGHTED was a 3.1.

What was the GPA sent in by her Guidance Counselor. That is what Cadet Command is going to use.

My counselor sent my GPA in at 4.239. It's on my transcript and it's weighted. My school only reports one GPA. Cadet Command recalculated it to 3.7. I emailed an asked why it was so low and the response was that they calculated my GPA as 3.76, but they only use three characters and do not round up.

My son's GPA was also calculated low by CC. He was perturbed by it and e-mailed them. They changed the GPA but he had already been boarded so I don't know if it made any difference.
