Hello everyone,

I have a few questions regarding the Army ROTC interview.

Can any comissioned Army officer complete this interview?

Do I fax the interview results in myself, or do I ask the interviewer to do so?

Is the deadline for the interview the same as the deadline for the application?

Thank you,

Jwmiller6

The Professor of Military Science conducts the interview. He / She will send the results of the interview to the board. The deadline to have all paperwork completed for consideration at the January 2013 board is December 26th. I believe the deadline for paperwork for consideration at this years final board is February 28th.

Well, I just looked at the paperwork they sent with the interview form. It says, "you may have any commissioned officer within your local area conduct this interview. Army officers may be found at military installations or at US Embassies." They also sent me the interview forms. This seems more geared towards an international applicant. Could this be because I live in Alaska?

That would be the reason...Recommend you get it done at an ROTC Battalion if possible. The PMS can put the results right in to the system. If you get "any commissioned officer" to do it, make sure they scan and email directly to Cadet Command (your scholarship processor) if possible. If that officer mails or faxes you will have to check to make sure the results get posted.

Okay, thank you!

I already have it planned with just a normal commissioned officer, so I will ensure that the interview results are scanned in as soon as possible after the interview.
