I was emailed earlier this week by my #1 school choice to call and set up an interview. I have everything done on my application except the PFT. I'm in pretty good shape, but I know that starting football and PE will get me more fit. Can I conduct the interview before I do the PFT? I'd like to delay the test for another month if possible so I can really knock it out of the park and get a good score.

My DS got it done and out of the way at the very beginning of sports season....just in case he got hurt or pulled a muscle or something. However, he had stayed in shape all summer and practiced for these tests so that was not an issue.

Does anyone know when the "30 days to complete the PFT" start? Is it as soon as you add your "coach's" name on the application? Or is it when the academic information changes from "Pending Approval" on the portal?

    Thanks

I appreciate the advice, I was just curious about what constitutes an "Application submittal".

"You will be required to have a Physical Fitness Assessment. Please provide the name and email address of a faculty member who will administer it for you. Once you submit the application, the faculty member will be notified via email and will have 30 days to complete it. HOWEVER, it must be completed before the application will be considered for a scholarship."
