AROTC Process

Hi all,

I am working on my AROTC application and have completed almost half. However, this has all happened online. I am not sure if I should be calling a recruiter or someone to give me additional applications and files to be fill out (ex. Teacher evaluations, etc). I looked this information up on the goarmy.com website but was only directed to the various AROTC units throughout my state.

I am also applying for an NROTC scholarship and was able to get in touch with a recruiter who is currently assisting me with the process. Therefore, I'm not sure if the process is the same for AROTC.

Everything for AROTC is online. The "Additional Information" tab should have a copy of the AROTC physical fitness scorecard to print and fill out.

There is no "recruiter"...You can talk, and should talk to the enrollment officer (also known as the ROO or recruiting operations officer) at one of the schools you are interested in. We don't need letters of recommendation or teacher evals. Online application and then 4 things...transcripts, SAT/ACT scores, PFT, and interview. As Texan said, the Additional Information tab is where you will get your information from, if you don't talk to a ROO.
