I received an email earlier this afternoon from Cadet Command notifying me that I have been awarded an AROTC scholarship. The notification did not say which school or schools the scholarship is for or whether it is a 3-year or 4-year scholarship. It told me that I should be expecting a letter in the mail in 7-10 business days specifying the details.

Regardless of what happens next I am very excited about my future in ROTC and as an officer for the U.S Army!

Congrats! I love it when board results come out. Work hard. Prepare to knock the initial PFT out of the park!

Just curious, which schools did you mark down?

I marked UNC-Chapel Hill, UT-Knoxville, and Appalachian State University.

I put The University of Texas at Austin, TCU, The Citadel, and VMI in that order. Had my interview at UT and it went "great" according to the PMS. So, I'm hoping for a 4-yr at UT. It would be a lot cheaper for the Army than my other choices.

I listed VMI, University of South Florida, UNG, Purdue, and IU.

Interviewed at Purdue and thought it went really well, but as you can see my two state schools are at the bottom of my list. Interesting to see how that works out.
