    Hi all:

As junior year winds down and the AROTC app opens up, I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to explain what the PT test for the scholarship entails, when I take it and finally where I can take it.

Also, does anyone know when this years first board will be. An AROTC rep at VMI mentioned August is a possibility. Is this correct?

As of right now the pt test includes 1 min of push ups, 1 min of curl ups, and a 1 mile run. For all three of these there is no set goal you want to reach, just do as many as you can. You can take it at a local ROTC program, your JROTC unit if you have one, or your school and a coach or gym teacher can administer it.

And I'm not sure about next year but this year the first board was in October, and Clarkson made a post saying it might stay that way. However that is just speculation.
