Okay so Im like most people on here waiting to hear back to see if i will be awarded an Army ROTC 4 year scholarship. Ive seen where several people have said that you can get a scholarship still through the school if not accepted on these recent boards.

So my question is if I do not receive a scholarship from Cadet Command could I still get an Army ROTC scholarship through my school?? Im going to a SMC by the way. Scholarship or not I can't wait for this fall when I start ROTC and begin working toward being an Army Officer :shake:

Simple answer is Yes you can get a campus based scholarship. These scholarships can be given prior to starting school, or after you start, they can be for 4, 3.5, 3, 2 years. Now that being said, a lot will depend on the budget for these type scholarships. Some schools may have a few to give and some may not have any at all. On thing will always be true, they are very competitive especially at the SMC's where there are a large number of cadets. Best advice, do your best, be the best.

Get in touch with the battalion before you get to campus. Be at freshman orientation ready, willing and able.
