I accepted an AROTC scholarship from the Jan. Board and sent in my acceptance the same day I received the paperwork, which was Feb. 9. It was sent certified and I got the green card back.
I was under the impression that my status should have changed from "you have been offered" to "you have accepted" soon after they received the letter.

Is this true? If not, when can I expect an update?

I'd give them more time to process and post it. I sent in my paperwork to transfer my scholarship to another school a month ago and my status was updated just this weekend. It's a very small group of people working with a great deal of paperwork. If the certified mailing said it went through, then I wouldn't worry.

NROTC March Board Review

:redface:When can those whose application for NROTC scholarship was reviewed today (March 2nd) find out if they "made it" Thanks.

I believe that it is something similar to a read receipt on an email. I don't think it has anything to do with ROTC. Anyways, it took about 3 1/2 weeks for my status to change to accepted, so don't worry.

The review process is not just one day, it will last the entire week. Those who have DODMERB accounts have found out within a few days, others have taken up to two weeks.

Son sent his acceptance via fax, email, and by registered mail, return receipt requested (the infamous green card). He received an email in return that his email had been received less than two hours after he had emailed them. CC's email may have been automatically generated, but it creates a nice paper trail.

My son kept getting a letter in the mail every month that he was missing one document. Every month I faxed it and received confirmation from my fax machine it was received. Finally, we emailed it last week and received confirmation from cc email saying it was received. I told son to follow-up and make sure they didnt' need anything else. They repleid saying said document still wasn't received!!! He finally got a real person's email address and sent it to her. So much for paper trail! Good that you followed up with other methods.
