AROTC:Update ACT?

DS's ACT scores were posted this morning on the ACT Site. His scores went up a bit. I see that the deadline for documents for the 1st board is today. I can upload the scores to his portal....but will they actually register on the portal today? I am a little concerned that if I upload these, it may take away the old scores, and not register the new scores, therefor making the file incomplete for the first board. Any thoughts?
 
That's exactly why I didn't want to upload anything for the last week. With the furloughs, who knows if there's enough manpower at CC to process incoming materials in time.

I'd say if it's only a little bit better, it's not worth the risk of missing the first board; but someone else might know the system better than I do.
 
My DS uploaded his new scores this morning and his dashboard is still all green although the new score is still pending. I was told by a PMS that he should upload everything he could by the deadline date as they work all next week to approve everything uploaded by today. I hope that's true.
 
Yes. We just uploaded. They take highest scores anyway right? I feel so clueless on all this.
 
I think they take highest. I know there have been posts about whether or not AROTC superscores or takes best sitting....but I don't remember what the conclusion was.
 
OK, went ahead and uploaded. As long as the first ACT is still on there (which it is), he still has a complete file - even if they never approve the new scores....are these people furloughed?

I don't think so, since they're part of the DoD.

The entire DoD is not working. Active Duty personnel have been working right along. Hagel just started calling back civilian employees, and not all of them will be called back at this time. Don't know what that means for the folks who process applications though.
 
Just saw that DS ACT scores he uploaded today were already approved in the portal so someone is on the ball today!:thumb:
 
Awesome! Good luck to everybody at this board and I can't wait to see the first people post on here all excited :biggrin:
