It's impossible to say. It all depends on the reason for the surgery and your condition.
You do have a little over 4 months until Beast.
Basically, West Point needs assurance that on R-Day you can handle the rigors of Beast. They don't want to put you in a position where you have to drop out or that you get injured again.
