This forum was a huge help for me and I would like to return the favor. Anyone, please feel free to ask a question about anything.

Congrats on getting through plebe summer! Now the real fun begins, eh?

So was plebe summer harder than you expected, easier, or just about what you thought it'd be like? Were you well prepared?

Plebe summer is supposed to not be hard. I feel like it's meant to be annoying and make you realize that you are going to be one of the nation's finest, so work like it. For me, the physical part was a bit hard cause I'm a swimmer and running was a challenge for me. (However, I passed the PRT with no problem) The rates are honestly not a problem. As long as you put in the time to memorize it (and find the best method for you) you'll be fine.

I'm an official candidate, how important is it that I start getting my running in check? I'm a 6'4 220lb Powerlifter and running isn't something I'm completely used to, but willing to adapt for this amazing opportunity.

What do you think the single best thing was that helped you get in? What were your ACT scores?

Very very important. I'm not a good runner either, but it's very important over the summer. You will be challenged by PEP, E-Course, O-Course, etc. You need to start running 3 miles a day at a 7 minute pace.

I think it was my ECAs. I had a job that demanded over 30 hours a week, had a varsity sport and still did well in school.

My ACT was 32 composite. 29 English, 34 Math, 33 Reading, 32 Science

The academy "looks" at English and Math but you need to do well in all four sections.
