Our son knows he is going into the Reserves--he is in law school now and went to CLC and got commissioned this summer. He supposedly has a slot assigned to him but hasn't heard from his Reserve unit. Any idea how this process works and when he might hear something?

First off, not sure why your Law School Second Lieutenant can't answer this question...He should be contacting his unit if he hasn't heard from them. He is going to need to be proactive. He needs to get a BOLC date. I suspect he is not in a big hurry to go to BOLC, since he is in Law School, but if he wants to remain in the Reserves he'll have to find time to attend BOLC.
